DAENEUNGWON IN GYEONGJU SOUTH KOREA

ate lunch first before going around the Gyeongju place
These tombs are scattered around the Hwangnam-dong area and the precinct of Daeneungwon.  Tumuli Nos. 90-114, and 151-155 numbered during the Japanese rule are earthen mounds.  These tombs are believed to have been built in the early Silla period.  Large tombs are wood-lined chamber tombs with stone mounds, and small tombs don not have mound at all.  Within the precinct of Daeneungwon, there are Michuwangneung, Cheonmachong and Hwangnamdaechong.  A crown and many relics were excavated from Cheonmachong in 1973.  The name Cheonmachong was given to the tomb because the flying horse was painted on the pendant of the saddle excavated from the tomb.  The diameter of the tomb is 47m and its height is 12.7.  Hwangnamdaechong was excavated from 1973 to 1975.  Its length from south to north is 120 m and from east to west 80 m.  Its height is 23 m.
This is my second Fall season experience in South Korea but until now I'm still amaze when ever I see this beautiful, so stunning colorful trees that I can only be able to see every Fall season.  Autum/Fall season is my second favorite weather, the first one is Spring ofcourse, winter and summer are just so-so.  But anyway everyday is a gift so what ever season is just enjoy life, have a wonderful day everyone, I hope you enjoy the photos that I've shared.
