FILIPINO CHAMPURRADO VS KOREAN PATJUK

My husband and I went to ever gotesco mall in commonwealth, quezon city he saw this filipino restaurant name CASA REYES and he really want to taste the filipino champurrado (sweet chocolate porridge) because he think the taste same with korean patjuk (red bean gruel).  So I said ok! I ordered sandwich and coffee asual and he ordered champurrado his really curious about the taste.

CHAMPURRADO (sweet chocolate rice porridge) - It is usually boiling sticky rice with cocoa powder, milk and sugar to make it taste sweeter. and Filipino usually eat it with tuyo or daing (dried fish).

PATJUK (red bean gruel) - It is nutritious food, Korean people prepared this during December 22 when the sun is at its greatest distance from the equatorial plane.  It's the day when the length of day light is at its shortest and nighttime at its longest. called Dongji (winter solstice)
